Using Your Challenges as Opportunities to Practice

Your challenges can provide unique opportunities for immersive practice. Our work to develop unconditional love, acceptance, and compassion for ourselves requires practice. Challenges, obstacles, and adversity typically trigger unhelpful narratives, uncomfortable emotions, and self-destructive behavior patterns. That is until we shift our perspective to one where we view the mountain that lies before as an opportunity to learn how to climb it and develop the strength, confidence, and muscle memory to climb the next one.
