What makes you unique as a coach? The depth and breadth of my personal experience, my transformation through unconditional self-acceptance, and my diverse leadership career. I view and treat you with unconditional positive regard, and I will be 100% honest with you. Honesty is my superpower.
-
Besides meeting and talking, what should I expect? You will leave every session with 1-3 strategies and practices to support you moving forward. The sessions are essential, but what you do between sessions will propel you forward.
-
Do you have a predetermined program that you use with your clients? No, I don’t. I meet each client where they are, understand where they want to go, and customize strategies and practices specific to their unique personality and situation. I can do this based on my diverse and extensive background and the fact that I’ve done this transformative work myself.
-
Why aren’t your fees listed?Choosing a coach (or not choosing!) based on cost misses the intent of finding the right coach for you. Let’s see if we are a fit first. As a potential new client, I will enjoy meeting you, learning about you, and offering you a strategy or practice to use immediately.
-
I want to do a free session, but I’m afraid of a high-pressure sales pitch. There is no pressure and no pitch. If we are a fit for working together, we will discuss my fees and your budget transparently.
-
Do you offer discounts? In limited circumstances. That’s why meeting and seeing if we are a fit for working together is vital to the process.
-
Can I pay by session and see how it goes?Yes, although I don’t suggest that. The reason is that starting your journey with a coach is a big step and is often a doozy! Paying by session without any future commitment can result in disengagement from coaching for the same reasons that make it hard to get started.
-
What is the best way to get started? Most clients purchase six hours of coaching at a time. These hours can be used in whatever way works for you. This includes varying length sessions and asynchronous help with writing and document review. You will receive a free accountability session at the end of these hours, meaning my accountability to you. We will discuss our progress, what is working, what you would like more/less of and our next steps. You might be finished or wish to purchase additional coaching hours.
-
How often will we meet?It is advisable to meet at least twice a month. Ultimately, your goals, schedule, and budget will be the driver.
-
How long will my coaching engagement last?My interest is in seeing you get the results you desire. I respect your time and investment, and I come to each session with an open, honest, creative curiosity. I spend time between sessions generating new ideas to share with you. Change requires practice. Your engagement with the new techniques that we introduce will inform how long your coaching engagement lasts.
